The Party of Communists USA condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the provocations of
US imperialism against People’s Cuba. Since the victory of the Cuban Revolution in 1959, US
imperialism has always hated the idea that there was a socialist government 90 miles from its
shores. It is important for the US to show that there are no other alternatives to the capitalist
system because capitalism is in a deep economic crisis. Capitalism goes through booms and
busts with each bust getting worse and worse. Cuban socialism has proven to be a long-term
alternative to the present economic system in the United States. The Party of Communists USA
continues its support for existing socialism in Cuba, never forgetting the disastrous Batista
days for the Cuban people before the Revolution. With Cuba, our Party says: Patria o muerte,
venceremos!
