Statement of the Party of Communists USA Central Committee:
This year has seen a dangerous degradation of the material conditions of working people across the world. As the capitalist system decays, as monopolies consolidate even further power at the expense of people and the planet, and as the US-led imperialist camp continues to desperately penetrate new markets to continue its hegemony over the world, we are experiencing the absolute barbarity and lawlessness the imperialists are willing to commit to satiate their endless need for power and wealth.
In the words of comrade J.V Stalin, “What would happen if capital succeeded in smashing the Republic of Soviets? There would set in an era of the blackest reaction in all the capitalist and colonial countries, the working class and the oppressed peoples would be seized by the throat, the positions of international communism would be lost.”
In the post-Perestroika era, truer words have never been spoken. It is intrinsically obvious to any astute communist that it is because of perestroika, and the vacuum that perestroika left in the international communist movement, that the US-led imperialist bloc is capable of committing as many atrocities as they have done across the planet. The fight against capitalism, and by extension the fight against apartheid, fascism, monopoly, neo-colonialism, and slavery is, of course, not a specter of the past. Nor is it in a dormant state, passively waiting to be reignited. The international working-class movement is undergoing a setback, albeit a major one, that can be rectified just as effectively as it was sabotaged.
These movements and struggles are well alive, yet they continue to falter in their capacity to build a cohesive opposition to the powers that be. The missing component of this struggle is, as comrade Lenin taught us, the leadership of the Leninist Party of a New Type, the vanguards of the proletarian revolution and the catalysts for the absolute seizure of the means of production from the bosses, leading all the oppressed towards peace, land, and bread. As comrade Lenin stated in his article A Militant Agreement for the Uprising, “We see in the independent, uncompromisingly Marxist party of the revolutionary proletariat the sole pledge of socialism’s victory and the road to victory that is most free from vacillations.”
With the international communist movement lacking a center, a Soviet Union to defend and lead it, the communist parties of all the worlds nations are left to carry the legacy of the Great October Socialist Revolution forward in substantially more difficult circumstances. It is without a doubt that it isn’t enough for communists across the world to disseminate information and share ideas, but rather to move together in a unified, cohesive, and democratic-centralist formation that will lead the oppressed masses to victory.
This is the communist international, the communist party of the entire worlds toilers, and the single biggest threat to reaction and oppression the world over. It is with the reconstruction of the communist international that the communist parties will further strengthen and expand the struggles in their home countries and better build the popular front against apartheid, fascism, and perpetual plundering and war by the imperialists. It is now, more than ever, of the utmost importance to the international communist movement to work towards the establishment of the world’s united front of orthodox Marxist-Leninist parties against monopoly capitalism.
The Party of Communists USA, the sole continuation of the Leninist method of political organization in our country, is unwavering in its task to frustrate and defeat the enemies of the progressive and peace-loving peoples of the world, using Marxism-Leninism as our guide and ideological foundation. To further defend, preserve, and grow our movement in the face of immense challenges imposed on us by US imperialism, be it resolved that the Party of Communists USA:
Continues to oppose any attempts to split, dismantle, and internally sabotage our movement and our fraternal organizations overseas,
Continues to frustrate and reject any and all attempts by the ultra-left and the ultra-right to internally sabotage and dismantle our struggle,
Continues to condemn and polemicize against those who deviate from and obfuscate our struggle towards working-class liberation,
Fights for the unity of the whole international communist movement as the kernel by which working-class liberation will grow and,
Continues to struggle for the reestablishment of the Soviet Union as a scientific socialist state
