Comrade President Salvador Allende brought the Unidad Popular (Popular Unity) coalition to power, making Chile the first country to achieve socialism democratically. In his honor—and in honor of all the comrades who fought to build a new society—we will not lower our banners, comrades; we will continue the struggle with our characteristic joyful defiance.
